Of course, but it’s advised to wait 14 days before washing your vehicle for the first time. After this time your ceramic coating is fully bonded to your vehicle’s surfaces.
It’s also advised to wait 24-72 hours before exposing the vehicle to the elements during the initial curing

That "ceramic coating" from the finance office is likely the same protection level as a SiO₂ spray you'd find at Target. Some ceramic properties — but not a true coating.
And the prep work? Virtually nonexistent. Unless you waited in the office for 7 hours while they applied it.
A real coating takes 5–8 hours minimum: proper wash, chemical decontamination, paint correction, and careful application. Skip those steps and you're sealing defects in from day one.

Absolutely! Every vehicle benefits from receiving a ceramic coating, especially new ones because it protects your vehicle from the start. Another benefit is that it usaully costs less due to the minimal paint correction needed.

Your coating will still remain intact for many years depending on the condition and age, but its life will more than likely be diminished, or seem to be diminished, as coatings get “clogged” from contaminants (iron, hydrocarbon fallout, hard water, etc.) and need to be maintained by a professional detailer.
You will forfeit our warranty on the coating, though.
